These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SyntaxAIO website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are operated by Jorge Echevarria, doing business as SyntaxAIO("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use.
2. Subscriptions and Payments
SyntaxAIO offers monthly subscription plans (currently Solo at $49/month and Agency at $149/month) and one-time credit packs. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. By subscribing, you authorize Paddle to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
All fees are exclusive of taxes, duties, and similar governmental assessments, which are your responsibility. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.
3. AI Engine Scanning and Data Sharing
The Services scan third-party AI search engines, including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, to report how often your business or competitor domains are mentioned. To perform these scans, we transmit domain names, business names, and related business identifiers to the APIs of these AI providers. You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit any business or competitor domain for scanning and that doing so does not violate any applicable law or agreement.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to: (a) violate any law or regulation; (b) infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; (c) send unauthorized or harassing communications; (d) interfere with the operation of the Services; (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or data; or (f) resell, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Services. We may suspend or terminate your access for any violation.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, software, and materials provided by SyntaxAIO are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services during your subscription term. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY SCAN RESULTS WILL BE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR LEAD TO SPECIFIC BUSINESS OUTCOMES. AI ENGINE RESULTS ARE PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES AND MAY CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JORGE ECHEVARRIA, DOING BUSINESS AS SYNTAXAIO, SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jorge Echevarria, doing business as SyntaxAIO, and our officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting Paddle support. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms or if your use poses a risk to us or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease, and all provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
